Just like the reviews said, the consultation was really kind. He felt like a benevolent older gentleman/grandfatherly doctor..! Since this is a third surgery, I asked about the eyelids coming undone, and he said that can’t be helped.. He said my eyes are not the type that come undone easily. I had heard he was conservative, and he advised against ptosis correction and canthoplasty (most places advised against them anyway). I do have asymmetry between my eyes, but he didn’t specifically mention that, and it felt a bit like he was gently reassuring me? All the lines he designed were pretty, and he said that surprisingly, it’s hard for an out-line to suit someone well, but mine is on the pretty side, so I think he may be the best at matching it for me. But since it was kind of “if it’s good, it’s good,” I’m still confused ㅠㅠ It feels like he would take good care of me and the surgery would go well, but I’m worried because there aren’t reviews. I was curious why this community doesn’t have reviews from before 3 years ago... Still, all the reviews that do exist are on the good side, so I don’t think it would fail. I’m worried about the risk of it coming undone, and since he is older, revision surgery after a long time may be difficult. It was a shame that the consultant was a bit unfriendly.
