This isn't related to a revision surgery at all, but.. about 2 years after my first surgery, I can feel something like a stringy lump inside my nose, protruding from the cartilage. During the first surgery, I also had septal cartilage work done, so is this maybe the spot where the cartilage was tied? There's a thread sticking out deep inside there, but it's too deep to grab and pull out I asked the doctor to remove it during the revision surgery, but it seems like the doctor forgot and didn't do it.. It's still there Can I just leave it alone? If it's a dissolvable thread, will it come off on its own?
