Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Mind community review

I came up from the provinces intending to even set a surgery date, but in the end, I couldn’t even get a consultation and went back down. Honestly, everyone knows, right? You go to receive a consultation from the doctor, not from a consultant whose level of professional knowledge you don’t even know. She was looking at my nose and saying things like deviated septum and so on, but honestly it didn’t really register that well. Still, I absolutely didn’t show it and received the consultation until the end. I thought she would connect me with the doctor, but because I hadn’t clearly stated in front of the consultant that I intended to have surgery, she absolutely wouldn’t connect me to the doctor. Is it wrong to say I want to receive a doctor’s consultation first and then decide? It makes no sense that you can only have a doctor’s consultation if you come having firmly decided on surgery. Thinking about it, this didn’t seem to be only the consultant’s problem. I know the hospital is busy, but I felt the system that could only respond like this was truly the worst.
