I got posterior and lower canthoplasty + epicanthoplasty last Friday! I’ve been interested in canthoplasty, so since last year I visited about 5 places for consultations. I trusted this place the most because they said it wouldn’t reattach, and during the consultation, the director confidently told me they could open it as much as I wanted, and I could feel their experience, so I chose it! For the surgery, I was under sedation only while they did the local anesthesia, and the remaining 2 hours or so were done with only local anesthesia. There were about 5-6 times when it pulled really strongly, and rather than pain, it felt stiff and was a bit hard to get through. But aside from that process, it was bearable, and I was discharged quickly. During the surgery, the director kept reassuring me, so I think I was able to get through it without trembling too much. The operating room nurse was also kind! After the surgery, on the day of, bloody tears flowed and my eyes kept stinging, so it was hard to open them properly. But I’m thinking I’ll recover quickly once the stitches are removed, so I’m continuing cold compresses. I’ll come back after the stitches are removed!!
