I had surgery when I was in college for a line I liked, but now that it has been almost 20 years since the surgery, the front part of the line disappeared, making my eyes look very droopy, and my eye hollows also became more noticeable.
Since it still involves touching my face, and among facial features I think the eyes are really important, I went to consultations at several places.
Many recommended ptosis correction, but for some reason, although I’m not an expert, I wasn’t drawn to ptosis correction. The doctor calmly explained that I shouldn’t worry, that they would open it only very slightly, and that doing so would make the line look prettier. They also recommended what would suit my face, not just the eye line,
so I proceeded with double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty. Since I was under sedation, I also got 100 shots of Ulthera on my jawline. In the end, I did it to look prettier, but people around me also told me I looked younger. As the line settled, I feel like my eye hollows became a bit less noticeable. As for swelling, there was really almost none from the next day. Instead, because of the epicanthoplasty stitches, I lived wearing sunglasses. After the stitches were removed, I returned to daily life right away. The doctor was very kind, marked the line again before the surgery, and listened seriously to my concerns, so I felt trust.
