In 2006, because of an appearance complex, after finishing my senior year of high school I had surgery to raise only my nasal bridge. After I did it, it really was higher than my old nose, but as time passed it became very obvious that something had been inserted. People couldn’t tell when they looked up close, but when they saw me from far away or when I took photos, it looked like I had chalk inserted, so my confidence in my appearance started to drop.
There were times when I lightly bumped my nose against my boyfriend’s forehead, or bumped my nose because of another person’s hand movement, but at those times it was okay....
The important thing is, one month before my wedding, my nose felt hot for about 3-4 days, the area around my nose was swollen, and my nose felt like it looked slightly bigger, so I was really worried, but it didn’t hurt, so it passedㅠ
In the end, something serious happened after the weddingㅠㅠㅠ I’m entering my 5th month of married life, and the silicone came out inside my nose. At first I really wondered what it was, thinking maybe a scab of blood had hardened in my nose, but when I looked, it was whiteㅠㅠ
There is a foreign-body sensation. I can breathe well, but it’s a bit scary, so I immediately went to the hospital where I had it done 10 years ago for a consultation, and I’m going to have it removed tomorrowㅠ
During the consultation, the director said, “After 10 years, haven’t you used it a lot?”ㅠ So I answered, “Is that why?” and he said removing it would probably be good for the inflammation, so I’m just going to have it removed tomorrow under local anesthesiaㅠㅠㅠ
But the courage I had when I was immature, when I went through with the surgery recklessly without even looking into it much, is nowhere to be found nowㅠ
Now that I’m doing it tomorrow, I’m scaredㅠㅜㅜ I’ll post a review. I don’t want to go back to my old noseㅜ I can’t sleep and I’m worried.
They say the removal surgery takes less than 5 minutes, there isn’t much swelling, and daily life is possible, butㅜ I think I’ll only know once I do itㅠㅠ
