10 years ago, I had incisional double eyelid surgery, and this time I had some time, so I got medial and lateral canthoplasty at the beginning of this month. I went to 2 clinics, then had a consultation that same day, booked right away, and everything moved along very quickly. For my double eyelid surgery 10 years ago, I stopped by through my aunt’s introduction, then had the double eyelid surgery right there and came out. lolololololol This is just how my personality is; I didn’t even look into it carefully enough and just went ahead with it. After this canthoplasty surgery, I really regret it. I didn’t even look up side effects, and maybe it just feels awkward because it has only been 2 weeks, but my eyes look even stranger (at least like Ao Oni). The medial canthoplasty shape is uneven -_- I didn’t have epicanthal folds, but on one side, a hook-like epicanthal fold has formed. And today, suddenly, long vertical fine wrinkles appeared under my eyes, all crinkly like an elderly woman’s. I looked in the mirror and was shocked ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ It’s ruined ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ Ah, seriously. After the medial canthoplasty, when I wink, vertical wrinkles form up and down near the inner corner of my eye, and I can’t wink well either; it trembles. And as of today, long, crinkly vertical fine wrinkles have appeared, like those of a woman in her 60s. It’s so gross. The incised area from the lateral canthoplasty has developed scar tissue and is bulging out.
Since I had double eyelid surgery 10 years ago, I thought cosmetic surgery techniques must have improved a lot by now, so I got it done without worrying. I only found out about this kind of community now, joined, and ended up writing this post. I really hope everyone thinks carefully and decides cautiously, no matter what area they are getting cosmetic surgery on.
And my eyes ㅠㅠ Please, I hope they become more natural with time. The wrinkles probably won’t smooth out or anything, right? I found the wrinkles as soon as I woke up today, so I should ask the clinic ㅠㅠ
