Today is day 12 since I had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, lateral/lower canthoplasty, and diagonal canthoplasty. From the first day until now, the lateral/lower canthoplasty on my right eye looks overcorrected compared with my left eye, and because of this, the back line of the double eyelid on my right eye looks thick and my eye looks sad. The clinic says it is because of swelling and that we should check the progress after a month. Just in case, I searched on Knowledge iN and a doctor gave this kind of answer.. I’m almost at 2 weeks now.. Shouldn’t I hurry and get early correction before adhesions form..?? I’m seriously going crazy
디딤만두 Yeah, judging from the photo alone, it does look overcorrected..? I also had one side slightly overcorrected and thought it would get better over time, but it just stayed the same.. lololol

리린리 At 2 weeks, that’s usually how it is. I still had a sad-looking feeling even up to a month, but now it’s almost been three months and it’s mostly similar to the beginning again, maybe opened about 1-2 mm more than before? Since they account for it returning, even if they overcorrect, later it changes so there’s only about a 1 mm difference. That’s why people misunderstand and say lateral/lower canthoplasty all closes back up.
