Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Yonsei Saint Review

I went for a consultation because the blog post made me trust them. I had only gone to large hospitals before, but when I went to this private clinic, there were not many people and most of the people waiting were middle-aged, so I was a bit shocked at first. Because it is a private clinic, I first consulted with the director about the surgical aspects, and then with the manager about the pricing and overall details. The director talked with the same blunt style as on the blog. I have a low, small nose and the cartilage is also weak, so for a natural result ear cartilage alone would be enough, but if I want a more definite structure, I need donor rib cartilage or autologous costal cartilage. I thought it was a safety-first clinic, so recommending donor rib cartilage was unexpected. They also said that if the amount of ear cartilage was small when taken out, I might have to use both sides. I had only heard from other hospitals that I had enough cartilage and could do it, so hearing such a firm statement surprised me a second time. The director did not feel like someone who explains things smoothly and kindly from start to finish; it felt more like I had to ask questions to get detailed answers. If I had gone without reading the blog, I do not think I would have booked surgery, but since I already had 100% trust in the director, I went ahead and booked it. But there are so few surgery reviews that I am worriedㅠㅠㅠ
