I have a nasal bridge, but the nasal tip was drooping with a slight hump-nose feeling, and I also had somewhat wide nostril wings, so overall my nose felt big on my face. + I have fairly severe left-right facial asymmetry, so the height of my nose was also uneven. Other people might not notice it, but I did, and when taking photos, others could notice it too. Since middle school, because it was puberty, I developed a complex about my nose. Adults said my nose was high and pretty, but as a woman I really hated having a big nose. After becoming an adult and working, I had some money, so I started thinking about surgery. When everyone was wearing masks because of COVID, I decided to get rhinoplasty! Even if I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the shape, I wanted implant-free surgery that looked natural and only improved my complex. Then Konopi Clinic caught my eye. Since I had a deviated nose and rhinitis, my nasal septum was probably deviated too, and at Konopi Clinic the director is an otolaryngology specialist, so I had rhinitis surgery together as well. The cost was about 4 million won at the time, around 2021-2022! I think 1 million of that was the rhinitis surgery cost. My nasal bridge was too high, and if they matched the nasal tip to it, they said my nose would become too high, so they shaved the nasal bridge to dorsum slightly. They recommended osteotomy, so I had osteotomy and narrowed the nasal bridge somewhat too. And I had columellar lengthening using the nasal septum. For about the first 6 months, my nose felt a bit too high, but now that about 3 years have passed, it just looks natural lol. Of course it’s not a pretty nose like a celebrity’s. Still, I can live without worrying about side effects, and my complex is resolved, so I’m very happy! The first photo with glasses visible is before surgery, and the second is after surgery! But what I’m disappointed about is that because I had osteotomy and the bridge area became narrower, something that made me look younger before disappeared. Maybe it’s also because I’ve aged, but I feel like the under-eye/front cheek area has become more suddenly hollow...ㅠㅠ I do think I shouldn’t have had osteotomy. And because I had columellar lengthening, the nasal tip is hard. That may be stable, but when I smile it looks too much like an arrow nose, and it’s noticeable when touched... Even if it were less high, I sometimes think I should have made the tip soft using cartilage only. I think Konopi Clinic’s name has changed now. (So I uploaded it under the changed hospital name.) The director was still there hehe. For people like me who are also considering rhinitis surgery, or who want an implant-free, natural-looking nose, I recommend it!
