Two years ago, right around this time, I had consultations at ㄷㅋ, ㅁㄷㅍ, ㅁㅇㅁ, ㄷㄹㅇ, ㄹㅂㅅ, and Yonsei U & Mi, and at Yonsei U & Mi I paid 2 million won in cash for incisional double eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and ptosis correction. Compared with other places, it was exactly a mid-range price. I trusted the director's way of speaking, which made him seem to understand well, the explanation tailored to my eyes, the explanation of possible side effects, and the kind consultant, so I had the surgery on the earliest available date... But about two weeks after surgery? From then on I started to feel something. Ah, they are uneven. This is 100% asymmetrical. On the day my stitches were removed, I asked about it, and at first they said it could be because the swelling was going down at different speeds, so I just went home. Then even after a few days passed, only one side kept going down quickly while the other side was still just as tightly swollen. Anyone could see it was not just a simple difference in swelling... I could not even go about daily life, and since I was taking time off work, I thought, good, I should keep chasing the hospital until they properly handle the follow-up care, so I really went to the hospital constantly and had consultations every day. I asked whether they could at least give me a swelling injection, since they had one, and said anyone could see this was not just a difference in swelling, my eyelashes were all lifted too, so it seemed definitely wrong, and asked them to at least do revision surgery. Then, exactly one month after the surgery, they told me something like the adhesion had not released? That it was not simple swelling? So that same day, I had revision surgery only on that one side right away. I think they probably cut it open again and stitched it back up. After the second surgery, I came home and watched the progress again, and it seemed to go down a little, but then it just stopped. From then on my mental state completely broke down, and I did not even keep chasing the hospital anymore. I just cried at home every day. They said if it was uneven again, they would do another free revision surgery, but I could not trust them anymore... When I was constantly going to the hospital, I asked whether this did not even match the line I had originally requested, and the director responded like, this is prettier, other people come asking for this, so what is the problem? So I had no intention of arguing further. From the very first consultation, I had asked so much that more than the height of the line, I absolutely wanted symmetry, and if even that did not work... well... The line itself is pretty. The line itself really is okay. I am more satisfied with it than the line I wanted. But I did not know it would be uneven.
Now it only shows quite a bit on a regular camera, and when seen in person or with makeup on, it is somewhat okay... so I only occasionally think about revision surgery. I desperately want to go backㅎ It is not completely ruined, but I am very disappointed.
