Taco has a technique called 3-way posterior canthoplasty, where they do lateral, lower, and posterior canthoplasty together. They said they make an incision at the outer eye corner, separate the ligament, then fix it to the periosteum so it prevents the outer eye corner from reattaching, and the stitches are removed after 10 days. In Olo’s case, lower canthoplasty and posterior canthoplasty are separate, and they make an incision inside the eyelid conjunctiva, so there’s no visible external scar, and they said posterior canthoplasty has no stitches. I have to go back to work right away, so it would be good if there were no stitches and it didn’t show much, but I’m also worried the effect might not be very noticeable ㅠㅠ Both of them were very kind and thorough during the consultation. I want to hurry up, get the surgery, and be done with it, but I think I need to think about it a bit moreㅜㅜ
