Nose Revision Surgery Consultation Review at ㅇㅁㅇ and ㅍㅁ

I went for a consultation yesterday. The replies online were also very detailed and seemed to show a lot of experience, so I went to meet them in person..

My first impression was that I didn’t see signs of being worn down, overwhelmed, or stressed from dealing with many patients, so I felt reassured. They seemed to work while feeling a sense of reward and achievement.

Actually, I wasn’t in an urgent situation for revision surgery. The part with ear cartilage from the surgery I had 7 years ago started looking like it was protruding a little about 2-3 years ago, so I went to consult about my current condition.

At the hospital I had visited before, even when I asked what the protruding part was, I wished they would at least roughly tell me what it might be, but they said they didn’t know and that it could be many different situations, so they would only know after opening it up.

Another doctor explained it in a way that was different from the surgical method I had understood I received until now.

But this doctor spoke clearly. They said it didn’t look like I had removal in mind yet. After looking at the condition, they said it looked like ear cartilage, and if there had been no problems until now, it would probably last another 10 years or so. They said there is also a way to shave it slightly, so I could say what I wanted.

Then they added that it was unfortunate how doctors are not treated properly because of so much distrust.

After hearing the answer.. honestly, I thought that even if I ever have a simple removal in the future, I should definitely come to this hospital to have it done. To avoid side effects, technique is one issue, but I think the doctor’s conscience is also important. Only a doctor with conscience can apply solid and proper technique to the patient.

Actually, before visiting in person, I looked online and it didn’t seem like this hospital had only good things said about it. To patients who had bad memories there, I’m sorry for writing this. Still, I thought that at least a doctor with that kind of mindset would be better than doctors who only pursue money and unconditionally push surgery, so I’m posting this hoping it may be of even a little help to others.

Since I haven’t actually had surgery there, posting something like this could be quite risky, and it may simply be my subjective opinion, so I’m posting this review just so people gathering information can use it as a reference. ~~~~~

Oh, and also!! Nose surgery.. to give only the conclusion, just don’t do it. Bulbous nose, hump nose, upturned nose.. I hope you just live beautifully and confidently as you naturally are. Once you touch your nose, you worry about it for the rest of your life. Just don’t do it. If I could turn back time, I would absolutely never do it again.

If you touch it out of a desire to become a little prettier at a young age, you will really regret it. Absolutely don’t do it.

I’m only not doing it because the situation doesn’t allow it; I’m someone who really wants to remove it.
