Wow, this is the first time I have seen a hospital like this. I will write down everything that happened that day. First, compared with how famous it is, the hospital facilities are very old. But well, since that means it is an old-established hospital, it actually increased my trust. But there are also very few staff. One person at the desk, one consultation manager, and the director. I waited an hour ;; and finally entered the consultation room. But even while I was talking with the consultation manager, the phone kept ringing, so the consultation kept getting interrupted. If it is going to be like this, they should hire even one more person.. Anyway, the consultation manager kept apologizing and continued explaining. She consulted with me about the surgical method for a very long time and in detail. However Dissatisfaction 1) They have a three-dimensional type and a general type for nostril reduction here, and they explained it as if people choose the general type because they have no money, and the three-dimensional type is unconditionally prettier. They said students without money choose the general type for that reason. Dissatisfaction 2) They divide patients by occupation. They said they do not use ear cartilage here and use artificial dermis. Artificial dermis is a better material. They explained, saying, if you look here, this person’s husband is a doctor at another plastic surgery clinic, and she chose artificial dermis (the patients’ names were covered with paper, so that point was good). But then suddenly they said, ‘This person is a prosecutor and she got artificial dermis~’ so I was like, huh? Why is a prosecutor coming up? lol Dissatisfaction 3) The doctor’s level of kindness. Wow, I had heard he was not the kind type, but I did not know it would be at the level of personal attacks. It seemed like he came to me right after coming out of the operating room. He seemed very tired and annoyed. I had already been waiting at the hospital for a long time, and he was the one who broke the appointment time, but when I asked about the surgical method, he said he did not have time to explain. (Then you should have come in earlier.. Anyway, the doctor’s consultation time was short.) If you look at my other consultation reviews, you will know, but waiting an hour at a plastic surgery clinic is more common than you think. Because of surgical delays and so on. But this is the first hospital where the consultation time becomes that much shorter and the patient is shown the doctor’s tiredness. Dissatisfaction 4) He called my mom, who came with me, my ‘money source.’ I am a college student and went in with my mom. As soon as I sat down, he asked whose money I would be using for the surgery, and when I answered my mom’s, he said, “You found yourself a goo~d money source.” From this point, I felt something was off. My mom also laughed awkwardly... Dissatisfaction 5) Before even doing surgery, he declared that revision surgery would be needed. He said that since I had a money source, I could do everything that could be done, and told me all possible procedures. But then he launched into saying that if I choose only a few of these, even if I later get revision surgery, he would not know, and I would be dissatisfied with my nose shape. He said I am a case where the columella, the lower part of the nose, feels like it has been sharply cut off, so columellar grafting should be second priority, but this is a difficult surgery, and the support strength is weak, so I might probably need revision surgery. But he said he cannot take responsibility. The tone here did not feel like other hospitals’ prior notice about side effects; it felt like, do not take issue with me even if it turns out badly. Dissatisfaction 6) Personal attacks on the patient’s face And I am a college student preparing for work in broadcasting. But suddenly the doctor turned my face this way and that and said, ‘Even if you do nostril reduction anyway, your face is not one that will look good on screen~’ …;? But well, I am not on Kim Tae-hee’s level, so I did not feel bad from just that comment. So I said, ‘Ah~ then where else would be good to do?ㅠㅠ’ Then he said, ‘Consultation time is over now. I’m busy right now, so ask about things like that next time.’ lol No, 1. It was not me, but the doctor himself who came late to the consultation. In reality, I only got a few minutes. Saying ‘I’m busy...’ 2. If he is not going to tell me a solution, why criticize the patient’s face? What am I supposed to do.. It was so absurd and made me angry. For reference, I have done paid ads myself, and I am not someone with a seriously problematic face preparing for broadcasting; After the consultation ended like this, I told the manager that I felt bad, and she apologized, saying she was sorry on his behalf. No, manager, you did nothing wrong... It was the doctor’s fault. The manager here is kind. Of course, she does push the three-dimensional type, but still, her tone is kind. The surgery estimate was Nostril reduction three-dimensional type: 3.6 million won / general type: 2.4 million won -The difference between the two is whether they insert thread into the nostril wings to spread them or not.
