I had deviated septum surgery + nasal valve reconstruction, and they put silicone in my nasal bridge, removed the blunt-looking tissue at my nasal tip, and inserted septal cartilage. When I took off the splint a week after surgery and saw it, the shape was really pretty.. A few days after that, fluid started building up in my nasal bridge, and the clinic said it was inflammation. They said I didn’t need to worry too much and suggested trying medication.. Right now, all the fluid in my nasal bridge has gone down, but the silicone still hasn’t fixed in place. Can it sometimes take this long for silicone to settle??
