It’s a revision surgery, but I didn’t know it would hurt this much.
Day of surgery I woke up after sedation anesthesia.. and I was still in surgery.. I don’t know if they were giving injections around the nostril wings, but I felt the pain of dozens of shots, and it was so hard.. I think it’s better to just stay under sedation anesthesia the whole time sob sob Maybe because of that, for a full day after surgery, tears kept coming out, it throbbed, and it felt painful ㅡ I couldn’t get over the shock.
After a day passed, I got the cotton packing removed, came back, took a nap, and woke up, and the pain eased a bit.
Today is day 3, and the outside of my nose is itchy too, and it’s so stuffy, you know? I can’t go out, and I have to take my medicine regularly, but I can’t move around ㅡㅡ It feels like I’m just gaining weight;; I still have no idea about my nose because of the splint.
