Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Leaving a review 10 days after removal surgery!

I had nose surgery 4 years ago with silicone + ear cartilage + cartilage tying + Medpor (support strut). It has been 10 days since my removal surgery, and I had everything completely removed through an open approach. One week after the removal surgery, I had the stitches taken out and the tape removed. There was no bruising, but I was surprised because the glabella area was flat and my nose looked so bulky. Still, I am relieved because the swelling is going down day by day. Right now, it is about 70% similar to my original nose shape. What has changed is that, maybe because the swelling has not fully gone down, it is very slightly higher than my original nose, and it has become a short nose. Before the stitches were removed, I felt a pulling sensation in my nose, but even before the removal surgery it was already a little upturned, so I am not worrying about it much. Maybe because I originally did not have much of a nasal bridge, the separation/irregularity of the nasal bridge does not bother me much either.

I do not know what will happen when the contraction period comes, but for now I do not regret removing it. Before the removal surgery, my psychological anxiety was very severe. Now I have no foreign-body sensation at all, and I feel relieved! Of course, the operated nose was prettier, but I had it removed knowing I might become less attractive. It is not a pretty nose, but it is my original nose, so what can I do haha. It feels natural and I like it.

Everyone who is about to have nose implant removal, I hope it all goes well for you!! I will leave another review later!!
