Eye Surgery Reviews@eye-review

It’s Been Almost 2 Months Since My Incisional Lateral Canthoplasty at Tobi.

Most of the swelling has gone down. There are times when it swells slightly in the morning, but there is no inconvenience in daily life. The epicanthoplasty scar area sometimes gets red, but it is not uncomfortable, so it’s fine. The bruising disappeared completely around week 3 after surgery, and the awkward feeling when closing my eyes now feels natural. There is no discomfort when I close my eyes or make facial expressions, and the scars have faded a lot. When I look in the mirror, I can definitely feel that my eye shape has become clearer. Compared with before, when my eyes looked small, my impression has become much more refreshed, and I’m satisfied because my eyes come out clearer in photos than before. People around me often say, “Your eyes look bigger and more defined,” so it makes me feel good. Maybe because I look in the mirror often, it feels similar to me, but when I look at the before-and-after photos, they have definitely become clearer. Even at the 1-month mark, I thought a lot of the swelling had gone down, but now that another month has passed, much more has gone down, and my eyes look much prettier and not awkward. I really think I did the right thing.
