First, this is me before surgery.. As you can see, because of my cheekbones and jaw, I had been told I looked older than my age, and I had a lot of complexes about my face shape, so I even got orthodontic treatment. But from the time I started braces, my overall facial line became uneven… So I was even more stressed than before orthodontics. I was so conscious of my face shape that when doing makeup I obsessed over contouring, and when taking photos I obsessed over Photoshop. I lived so tiringly… But after facial contouring surgery, once the face-shape issue was really solved, life became so much easier ㅠㅠ Honestly, the first week or two after surgery was a bit hard too…. At the 2-month mark I gained a lot of weight, so swelling + facial fat stuck together as a combo ㅠㅠ I was really anxious lol But because it was weight I gained rapidly, it came off a bit easily. When I lost weight, I could see my jawline naturally becoming slimmer, so I felt completely relieved… Now that all the swelling has gone down, my jaw is always slim even without contouring makeup, which I love, and when I take selfies, no matter what angle I take them from, it comes out as a V-line. I’m really so satisfied. Oh, and before, when I opened my mouth wide or chewed something, there was a clicking sound from my jaw, but after surgery that disappeared, so I’m really happy!!!! hehe
