I'm a woman in my 20s. I have a short nose, and I was bothered by my nostrils being visible from the front, so I decided to have surgery. I had consultations at 6 places, decided to do it at the last clinic, and yesterday (the 20th) I lay on the operating table for about two hours starting around 11 a.m.
The surgery was lengthening (septal cartilage + cartilage gathering) + nasal tip (ear cartilage) + nasal bridge (silicone) + scraping out residual filler near the glabella. I had also heard that they would shave down a very slightly protruding area on the upper nasal bridge, but in the actual surgery they didn't shave it. Other than that, there wasn't anything that seemed like it would be a major problem.
Anyway, I ate and took the bus home just fine, more normally than expected, but from around 7 p.m., my upper lip started swelling a lot. I thought it was just swelling, but the lip color looked strange, so I flipped it up slightly and the inside was completely blackㅠㅠ
I didn't lie down in the recovery room, and after coming home I kept sitting up, so maybe that's why there is almost no swelling in the upper part of my face. But my nosebleed keeps dripping so much I can't control it, and the swelling and bruising of my upper lip are so severe that I can't even do a cold compress, and I really don't know what to do... When does the upper lip return to normal? Even when I eat, I have to lift my upper lip with my hand, so it's so hardㅠㅠ
Added content) They told me to come for dressing on Friday, but I couldn't wait, so I decided to go today at 3 p.m...
