I had it done through the inframammary fold. First of all, pain-wise, I’m someone who tolerates pain pretty well, but this was really. About 10 days after surgery, my left breast suddenly started feeling hot and developed dark bruising. Bruising that hadn’t even appeared right after surgery suddenly showed up 10 days later. Then the next morning, the moment I lifted my upper body to get up, a sharp, electric pain came rushing in, and I couldn’t even move 1 meter, so I sat on the bed leaning against the wall and almost fainted as my vision went black. For a moment I even wondered if I should call the hospital. I was drenched in cold sweat, and after about 3 hours, once I calmed down, I went to the hospital and got checked, and they said there was nothing wrong;;; hospitals always say that (I had mine done at a fairly well-known clinic in Apgujeong.) The right side was fine, but only the left side had insane pain, and for about 10 days I lived in a state where even the slightest touch felt like it would kill me. Now it’s been 2 months, and both are fine, but there is a big difference between the left and right in terms of feel and shape. When sitting, the left side feels like touching a rubber ball that is firm but slightly soft, while the right side is soft and squishy. The side my friends say, “If you just keep your mouth shut, no one would know you had surgery,” is the right side. When I run or move, both breasts bounce, but the left side only slightly, while on the right side the breast moves up toward the armpit fat and comes back down. The problem is when lying down. Since they are teardrop implants, because they are made to hold a definite “teardrop shape,” even if that’s understandable when sitting, the silicone gathered toward the lower part of the teardrop shape still sticks up even when lying down. LOL.... It doesn’t spread out like round implants.. especially smooth round ones. This point.. is honestly my biggest stress. I regretted not just getting round implants because of this. Just because the implant is called a “teardrop” implant doesn’t mean only this implant creates a teardrop shape. Round implants also naturally turn the breast into a teardrop shape as they droop with gravity. There’s just a difference in degree.. But even now with teardrop implants, I still have a little upper fullness, so I wonder how much worse it would have been if I had gotten round ones.. But then if I choose smooth implants that look teardrop-shaped when sitting and spread out when lying down, I’m afraid of capsular contracture, and anyway, I already got teardrop implants, so what can I do;; Because of the feel and all that, I still absolutely won’t let my boyfriend touch my breasts, and it’s not even like they only look good on the outside but are disappointing in reality..;;; I’m stressed in a lot of ways. I keep worrying about when the feel will finally soften, whether capsular contracture might happen, and all sorts of things. But then when I wear clothes, the silhouette looks good, so every time I feel proud and think I did well. That was my honest teardrop implant review. My rib cage is 76 cm, on the larger side, and even before surgery I had some breast tissue. When my breasts swelled before my period, I was about a full A to B cup. Anyway, consider all your conditions carefully before deciding on implants. The feel of teardrop implants when lying down is.... at this point, all I can say is that they feel really hard.
