Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

I had my 3rd revision surgery yesterday, using autologous dermis

For my first surgery: silicone, nasal tip For my second surgery: nasal tip revision and alar reduction This time, for the third surgery, I developed inflammation from the silicone (after 4 years), so I had the silicone removed, used autologous dermis, and also had another nasal tip revision. I heard that if silicone is removed after the nasal tip and bridge have already been done, the nasal tip can become upturned (that’s what my friends said, and I didn’t confirm it with the clinic), so I also just wanted to have it removed onlyㅜㅜ But after the director persuaded me, I used autologous dermis.

Today is day 2, and I don’t think there’s much swelling. I’m going to the clinic soon for dressing.

I didn’t really want a high nasal bridge from the start... So even if a lot gets absorbed, I thought I should prioritize safety, and that’s why I chose autologous dermis. But seeing posts in this community saying things like “it became bumpy” and “100% of it was absorbed” makes me feel unsettled, sob. Later, I’ll post autologous dermis reviews month by month! Since it’s my nose, I’ll show how it changesㅜㅜ I’ll use myself as a test case and post my caseㅜㅜ Ha, I’m so anxious at dawn that I can’t sleep. Right now it’s day 3 after surgery.

+ Day 8 The swelling in my nose has been going down quickly day by day, and now I really like it. Last time I had 3 mm, but this time it became about 5 mm in height, and unexpectedly I like the higher heightㅋㅋ At first I thought I wouldn’t care even if it all disappeared, but now that it’s actually higher, I like itㅎㅎㅎ For now, the nasal tip swelling still needs to go down more, but since I originally had a very bulbous nose, I’m satisfied enough with how it is now. If it goes down more, it’ll be even more amazing. I’m happy day by day. Ah~ I’m already sad that the bridge will get lower from now on... but I’m happy enough just that the silicone is gone.

+ Week 3 The nasal tip is still hard, and swelling still remains. The director said that because it was done with autologous dermis, it would become soft. Nasal tip texture: hard, cannot do a pig nose. Nasal bridge height: still much higher than when I had 3 mm silicone. Nasal bridge shape: slim without spreading.

+ Month 2 (16/9/15) Nasal bridge height: about the same height as when I had 3 mm silicone in the past. My friends are surprised that I removed the silicone but the height is the same. I think I’ll be disappointed if it gets lower. Nasal bridge shape: I didn’t know what people with dermis meant when they said the bridge becomes bumpy, but now I understand. It just looks like the nasal bone slightly protrudes in people who haven’t had their nose done. I like it because it looks more natural than being too smooth. And I don’t feel any spreading at all. Nasal tip texture: still hard. I think I’ll have to wait until 6 months. I still can’t do a pig noseㅜㅜ
