I went to consultations at three places for double eyelid surgery, so I’m writing this to share information. I went to ㅇㄹ (ㅗㄹㅗ), ㅊㅇ (ㅏㅣ), and ㅊㅇ (ㅣ ㅠ), and these are just my personal impressions from going there myself, so please don’t take them as absolute and just use them as a reference. Consultation order: ㅊㅇ (Gangnam) -> ㅇㄹ (Apgujeong) -> ㅊㅇ (Sinsa) Usually, waiting + consultation took about 30–40 minutes, and maybe because I went near the tail end but still pretty much during peak season, there were a lot of people. <Clinic image> ㅊㅇ (ㅏㅣ): Slightly dark and calm feeling. The service wasn’t bad, but even though I had made a reservation, the director was in surgery, so I had to wait a bit. ㅇㄹ: Overall white interior, so it had a clean and bright atmosphere. ㅊㅇ (ㅣㅠ): Warm and overall sophisticated atmosphere. There were many foreigners. <Diagnosis> ㅊㅇ (ㅏㅣ): Incision, ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, lower canthoplasty ㅇㄹ: Incision, ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty ㅊㅇ (ㅣㅠ): Incision, ptosis correction, epicanthoplasty <After-service> ㅊㅇ (ㅏㅣ): From 6 months to 1 year after surgery ㅇㄹ: 3 years after surgery, the longest ㅊㅇ (ㅣㅠ): No mention <Consultation> ㅊㅇ (ㅏㅣ): I felt this was the place where the consultant gave the most professional? consultation. She explained eye surgery really thoroughly.... Personally, though, I did feel it would have been better if the director had given this kind of explanation. The director does also examine you, but relatively speaking, the consultation with the consultant is longer. The line the director designed itself wasn’t bad, but the canthoplasty was more extensive than I expected, and they said conjunctival edema from that could of course happen. If same-day booking or partial discounts were applied, the price did drop sharply. ㅇㄹ: The initial consultation with the consultant was about 5 minutes? It felt like she just listened to exactly what eye style I wanted and then stepped out. Other than that, you can basically assume the director handles almost everything. Eye structure, skin type, how canthoplasty should be done, things like that...... The director explained everything too. The director’s consultation time felt long. Personally, I thought they designed the line conservatively. I’m not someone who likes a flashy look, so it was fine, and when they designed the line for me, I was surprised because just one line made my eyes look completely different. This was where I thought I probably didn’t need to do excessive canthoplasty. ㅊㅇ (ㅣㅠ): This was the first place that told me to scan a QR code at the beginning. If you send simple information through the QR code, you consult with the consultant, but it wasn’t that long, and having to wait again made me feel there was quite a bit of delay. The director explains very thoroughly and well. More than the other parts, this was the place where I felt the director’s consultation was the best. They explained in detail so that even a layperson could understand. But the line wasn’t the style I wanted, so we kept trying different lines, and that was a bit disappointing. But I remember the consultant talked so fast that I couldn’t understand in the middle and asked her to explain again..... This place left the strongest impression. <Postoperative care> ㅊㅇ (ㅏㅣ): Swelling laser, swelling injection (they said there were two types and they would do whichever one I wanted) ㅇㄹ: Swelling laser, swelling injection ㅊㅇ (ㅣㅠ): They said they provide swelling care, but as I said earlier, she spoke so fast..... I don’t remember well haha;; That’s how I finished the consultations. I haven’t chosen a clinic yet, so I’m still thinking about it. I’m still carefully reading through consultation review boards and looking for information, but I think just reading information and actually going for consultations to try out lines have different meanings.
