After 3 months, around week 16, I feel like sensation and nerves have returned to some extent~ The lines seem to have settled more too^^ But I still have a tingling sensation around the front chin when I open my mouth wide or things like that~ I think this will gradually get better too!
Around the 3-month mark, I had the second round of fat grafting as well~ Since I naturally had very little fat on my face, I was very satisfied after the fat grafting^^ It felt like I had become younger again^^
I heard that the second round of fat grafting is usually done around 3 months before or after~ It had been a while since I had anesthesia and was about to get back on the operating table, so I was a little scaredㅡㅡ But I had safely gotten through major surgery before, and above all, the director was performing the surgery personally, so I felt at ease getting my second round of fat grafting this time too^^
Since I was receiving it using the fat that had been harvested during my previous surgery, the surgery finished earlier than I expected^^ I don’t think the swelling or bruising was severe either~~
Honestly, more than the surgery or anesthesia, the hardest thing for me was fasting before surgery because of the anesthesiaㅡㅡ;; This may sound a bit funny, but as soon as I got home after the second fat grafting, I was so hungry that I quickly ate two bowls of riceㅋㅋ
Anyway, after getting through 3 months after facial contouring surgery, surgery itself, especially surgery that shaves the facial bones, is a major operation!! As someone who had a huge amount of worries and concerns before undergoing major surgery!!
Before surgery, above all, have a thorough consultation with the doctor who will operate on you!! Once you have decided to have surgery, or once you have finished surgery, for surgeries like facial contouring, I heard the face continues to change little by little for about 6 months to 1 year, so don’t be too impatient!! I think it’s good to watch the progress while keeping many positive thoughts!!
Oh, and After my facial contouring surgery, the surgery was done so well and without pain to the point that I barely felt any bone pain, so I had been doing well, but suddenly around the end of last month, both of my cheekbones hurt! I wondered, have I been eating too well lately and maybe put strain on my cheekbones? I got worried, so I went to the hospital, had a CT scan, and checked the progress!! Thankfully, they said there was nothing wrong with the bones.. At that time I had a really bad nasal cold ㅠㅠ They said it could be pain caused by a nasal cold or a coldㅜㅜ So I went to a nearby ENT clinic, got treated, took cold medicine for about 3 days, and once the cold got better, the pain really disappeared as if it had never been there!!
