It’s day 5, so I had the taping removed, got disinfected, met the doctor, exchanged a few words, and came back. The right side has felt completely fine from day one, as if nothing had been done to it, but the left side started throbbing from day 2. I had it done closed, through the left side. After removing the taping, it looked fine, and the doctor said there was no inflammation and that contracture wouldn’t happen, so I shouldn’t worry. I came home feeling relieved... but when I looked again at home, the left nasal tip was swollen about 1 cm in diameter. They say inflammation is usually red, but for me that area is bright, like a round spot of concealer was applied. I might just be being sensitive, but... I’m really anxious. Just now I looked and a very tiny pimple-like bump has come up. Is this inflammation...? I had the silicone removed because I disliked the crooked shape, and it was removed without inflammation.
