People keep asking whether it was the columella or the nasal tip cartilage that had been tied~ I also don’t really know what had been tied. Everyone’s nose and function are different, so please use this only as a reference. And I don’t know how things were manipulated during dmswlsun’s previous surgery, but for the remaining detailed parts, please ask a specialist. Before the removal surgery, my nose looked like that. When I put force into my nose like that or smiled, both sides of the cartilage were tied, so only my mouth smiled and the entire alar area did not smile; it stayed still. So my impression looked even harsher.
My first surgery was done by Director S.M.G. at Jeongwon Plastic Surgery, and for removal, I researched in a community for about a year, went around for consultations here and there, and ultimately had it done by Director Yoon Hee-geun at Tami in Apgujeong. And while releasing the adhesions to untie the tied cartilage, the doctor said the adhesion on the left side was worse and scraped? released? it once more. Also, since I removed it after 2 years, it’s better to release tied cartilage quickly!! If you hesitate like I did and 2 years pass, a lot of adhesions form.
Also, to get rid of that unnatural pinched line, I stupidly twisted, pressed, touched, and massaged my nasal tip by myself every day, which made the adhesions even worse.. I did that thinking that if it accumulated day after day, that plastic-surgery-monster-like line that looked pinched with a clothespin would disappear.. That was actually making the adhesions worse;; As days go by, that tied line that looks like it was pinched with a clothespin gets worse. Please take note if you’ve had your nasal cartilage tied.
It’s day two now, so my nose is honestly bigger than a big swollen nose. I look like Olaf. It’s extremely swollen. My mom laughs every time she sees my nose, saying it’s so funny she could die. I’m going to walk a lot while hoping the swelling goes down quickly. Anyway, I hope this helped.
