Because I don’t have much cheek fat, I was concerned about my prominent cheekbones and my chin protruding forward and looking long, so I had cheekbone surgery and mini-V surgery! Two months have already passed since the surgery, so I’m leaving a review! At first, the change felt awkward and there was swelling, so I was really conscious of it, but now overall it feels like everything has settled smoothly and naturally. - Changes after surgery Up until the one-month mark, there was still swelling, so it was hard to really feel the exact changes, but now almost all the swelling has gone down and it feels like my facial contour has properly taken shape. As my cheekbones were smoothed out, the volume came back naturally, and as my angular, long chin became shorter, I think my impression definitely looks gentler. Especially when taking photos, I really feel the difference. Before, because of my angular face shape, I only took photos from certain angles, but now my face shape looks natural from any angle, so I’m satisfied! - Surgical area care Honestly, my surgical swelling and pain were not severe.. I don’t think I did anything special, but if I were to write it down anyway! I consistently wore the compression band given by the hospital for more than 3-4 hours a day every day..? They said it’s good to keep doing it until 3 months. Maybe because I wore the compression band consistently, I didn’t have any skin sagging! As for my diet, until week 2 I mainly ate soft foods, but from about a month and a half afterward, I ate almost as usual! However, I’m still careful with very tough or hard foods! - Reactions around me Friends I met after a long time often said things like “Your face got slimmer!” or “You lost a lot of weight.” Facial contouring definitely doesn’t stand out as much as nose surgery, and I think it makes you prettier naturally. - Things I’m satisfied with First, unlike what I worried about, it doesn’t look artificial and feels like my original face, so I’m very satisfied! Second, my impression, which used to look strong because of my angular face shape, became softer and my image seems to have changed to a gentler one, so I feel good. Third, when taking photos, my facial line is definitely smoother, so I’ve become more confident! I think I can write about this much. At first, I was so scared of the surgery that I cried until right before going in.. but now I think I ‘really did well’ by doing it. For those who are thinking about it, I really want to tell you to choose a hospital that is natural-looking and skilled!!
