I just remembered it while trying to sleep, so I’m posting a review of waking up from sedation during nose surgery..! It’s a fresh review from less than a week after surgery!ㅌㅋㅋㅋ When surgery started, they didn’t even say they were giving anesthesia, so I just fell asleep, and while waking up like from sleep, after having some random dream, my consciousness suddenly came back all at once!! It was about an hour in, while they were suturing after cartilage binding, and since I woke up I thought I should let them know that I was awake! I said, “Doctor, I’m awake,” and they said, “Please don’t talk.” So I just stayed quiet.. but I couldn’t fall asleep again.. My eyes were covered with a white cloth so I couldn’t see, and I could feel them operating with surgical instruments placed on my abdomen, so I just listened to the surgery process like streaming, like listening to the radio. It seemed like they were going into the nostril reduction, and I was scared to be awake, so I said, “I’m still awake,” and the nurse said, “It’s normal to sleep and wake up repeatedly~” so I stayed still again, but I still couldn’t sleep I was scared. After I said, “Doctor, can’t you just put me back to sleep?” they gave instructions for another medication, and I fell asleep Later, when they came to talk about the results after surgery ended, I was already completely awake from anesthesia and recovered. The nurse also asked, “Do you drink a lot?” and the doctor came too and said, “I guess propofol doesn’t work well on you..” Anyway, I finished the surgery without pain, and I’m someone who doesn’t even drink, but I just became a person who recovers super fast.
