Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

What’s wrong with my face...?

I’m almost one month post facial contouring. Because my mouth protrudes a lot (protruding mouth), I had even considered double-jaw surgery, but I had orthodontic treatment in the past too, and the hospitals didn’t recommend double-jaw surgery... so I had it done at a hospital that said it could be corrected with contouring alone?? Still, there were also hospitals that said I’d need double-jaw surgery too to get the face shape I wanted. But my side profile looks so strange. To correct the protruding mouth, they cut and advanced my chin, which was already long and protruding, and now it looks even blunter... Where did the problem start? Should they have set it back instead?? But then only my teeth would stick out, making my mouth look very protruded... Was the orthodontic treatment wrong from the start??? Since I didn’t have extractions, should I have had them? Even if it wasn’t good for my gums, should I have had double-jaw surgery? Or should I have had protruding-mouth surgery together?? My front view isn’t bad, but my side view looks like a Titan... like someone with a big protruding chin, like an underbite, sigh. They said I don’t have much swelling, so I wonder if I have to keep living like this. Since I can’t change my ears, the distance between my ears and chin is too far... I feel like the surgery itself was the best it could be, but where did it start going wrong......
