I finally got my epicanthoplasty restoration done!! The reason I chose this clinic was because this was seriously my 3rd eye surgery, so I chose it thinking it would be my last surgery. First of all, the surgical method was reverse skin redraping, so I was worried because a Mongolian fold could form and I was concerned about scarring, but it seemed like there would be the least concern about the area opening back up (they said the Mongolian fold naturally gradually smooths out later, and that after a few months the scar would be at a level where it wouldn’t bother me, and they showed me so many review photos). Also, their aftercare service was systematic, so I trusted them more. I had a total 1-hour consultation with the director + the counseling manager. On the day of surgery, the director showed me a mirror in the operating room and showed me, “How about closing it this much?” But I kept saying I wasn’t sure, so he laid me back down, closed it more, and asked which of the two I liked better and what I thought about that amount. So I liked the second one better and asked him to do it that way (this was the best part). After the surgery, I got a regeneration injection + forehead Botox (because I use my forehead a lot, they did it so I wouldn’t open my eyes by raising my forehead to make them look bigger) and left. After the surgery, I went twice that week for disinfection and got regeneration + swelling injections, and the next week I visited twice too, got swelling injections, and had the stitches removed in two sessions. They always asked if I had any questions, told me to manage UV exposure well, and even gave me sunscreen!! (The director is cynical, but the type who doesn’t say empty words, and has a tsundere vibe, so I was fine with it.) They told me to come back after 3 weeks to check the distance between my eyes again and get another regeneration injection. By my standards, I think this is the first clinic that has cared this much. Conclusion: so far I’m completely satisfied. My impression really looks much gentler!! I’m so curious how it’ll look again after a month. I was so worried before choosing a clinic that I thought I was going to go crazy, but I don’t regret it and I’m satisfied.
