It’s already been a month. After getting revision rhinoplasty at It’s B, I was so busy that time seems to have passed quickly. When I had the splint and cotton in, I kept wondering why time was passing so slowly, but after the splint was removed and I started seeing the swelling go down, time flew by. When I compare it with the photos I took two weeks ago, it seems like the residual swelling is gradually going down, and especially the rhinitis surgery is showing a very clear effect? Having a stuffy, blocked nose was always part of daily life for me, but that’s gone now, so breathing has become easier, and I feel like I can smell things more clearly too. The best thing after the revision surgery is that both sides no longer look asymmetric. Before, maybe because my nose was uneven, my face looked asymmetric, and I also had a deviated nose, so it felt even more emphasized. Even when I took photos, I rarely got ones I liked, and should I say my face looked subtly distorted? I realized it felt that way because of the asymmetry. This time, I had surgery for the deviated nose, alar wings, columella, nasal bridge, nasal tip, and rhinitis all at once. Since the whole line was definitely reshaped and refined, there’s no sense of mismatch on my face now. Because I changed the previous Gore-Tex surgery to ear cartilage and donated costal cartilage, my skin became a bit thinner, but when I compare it with the pre-op photos, the difference is big, so I think I’m satisfied.
