Can’t you just get a consultation? You can’t tell from review photos. If you feel like the doctor is somewhat hesitant about autologous costal cartilage, go somewhere else. Ask the consultant to show you autologous costal cartilage reviews too and see how they react. (They often do it under sedation, but if they’re not used to it, there’s a risk of pneumothorax, and some doctors seem to feel burdened by harvesting it.) For the most part, proper doctors don’t seem to care much either way, whichever of the two materials they use. Some doctors seem to recommend autologous costal cartilage more because it’s a firmer material. Weigh the pros and cons carefully and decide. I feel like this same question comes up so often, but surprisingly(?) if you just search this community, all the answers are there.

The price was 5.7 million -> event price 4.6 million won (silicone + donor costal cartilage). If you’re doing autologous costal cartilage, absolutely, absolutely go somewhere with an anesthesiology director on site, not a pay doctorㅠㅠ
