These are questions I asked while looking around for my mom, and I thought they might help, so I’m sharing them. For reference, my mom had it done at The Plan Plastic Surgery, but just because I chose it doesn’t mean it’s the answer, so I think it would be good for each person to choose a clinic while asking questions based on the criteria below. 1- How many facelift cases has the director done? How many years have they been doing it? For this question, if you filter out more than half of the beginner facelift doctors, that alone is a success. A facelift is surgery, not a procedure, so I wanted to leave my mom with a doctor who had a lot of experience. I didn’t want someone who had just opened a clinic or a doctor who hadn’t done many facelifts. 2- What surgeries does the hospital mainly perform? When I asked this, I was sometimes suspected of being someone in the industry…ㅠ So I first looked this up online. But usually, hospitals that do a broad range of surgeries have much lower facelift specialization… If they’re famous for eyes, nose, and fat grafting and keep rotating through those surgeries, frankly, when would they build facelift experience… Honestly, wouldn’t it be better for my surgery to be done by someone who operated yesterday or the day before, rather than someone who last did one a month ago and is fumbling through it?ㅠ 3- Choose a doctor with a good aesthetic sense For this, there’s nothing except review photos. Whether the reviews are ads or not, I recommend looking at a lot of that hospital’s reviews before going… Aesthetic sense differs by director and by doctor, and if you get it done by a doctor with poor aesthetic sense, you won’t be satisfied no matter how well it turns out. So in my case, I looked at a lot of review photos on YouTube and blogs, and at the hospital I also asked them to show me before-and-after photos. If you ask about and look into this much, I think at least you won’t regret your clinic choice~!
