I had a complex about my bulbous nose for a long time, and yesterday I finally had surgery!
For me, silicone was 2 mm at the upper part and 4 mm at the tip area. I had osteotomy added, correction of a deviated septum, and septal cartilage and ear cartilage were used for the nasal tip. The nasolabial angle was raised too. Except for nostril reduction, I had all the basic procedures usually done for a bulbous nose.
It’s already day 2. On the evening of the first day, since it was really my first surgery, I don’t know if it’s something genetic in my family, but the pain-control injection made me nauseous, so whenever I sat up I felt nauseousㅜ There was no pain at all, but it felt like I had slightly touched the threshold of hell, ugh... I ordered pizza yesterday, but did I eat about four bites? I couldn’t even finish it, such a wasteㅜㅜ
I was really nervous on the way to surgery. I had heard lots of different stories, and above all, it was surgery, not just a procedure!
Before surgery, I had a 3D CT scan, consulted with the consultant, and also consulted with the director. They explained the scan results in detail and said they would make it prettyㅋㅋ
The surgery felt like about 30 minutes, but I guess about an hour had passed when I came out. I had sedation anesthesia and local anesthesia. I guess this is what it feels like to go to a whole new world once without even knowing when you fell asleep. Because I kept breathing through my mouth, my throat hurtㅜ
After everything was finished, before they put the tape on, in the operating room, they showed me and my mom who came with me how my nose turned out. I was dazed from the anesthesia, so I couldn’t really tell, but my mom was actually happy, saying it turned out nicely and pretty.
Even while my nose was blocked with cotton in the recovery room, I said it felt like this, and my mom said she could hear from outside too, and we chattedㅎㅎ But the moment I lay down and got up, I felt dizzy and nauseousㅜ
Today, day two, I’m really much better than yesterday. Yesterday I had nosebleeds pouring out, and because of nausea I even threw up, so I really had a hard time yesterdayㅜ I was so scared, wondering if something had gone wrongㅜ When I texted the hospital, they said vomiting was actually probably better. I wondered if it had put strain on my nose, but they said it was okay because the splint was well secured.
I was struggling, but my whole family took care of me, so even while feeling nauseous, I felt goodㅋㅋㅋ
The photos were taken before it got worse, but maybe because of the swelling, it feels like my eyes got bigger? They weren’t small before either, though. I hope I can quickly take everything off and that the swelling goes down quicklyㅎㅎ Some people say they feel a foreign-body sensation even on the first day, but I don’t have that, and maybe because of the painkillers, I don’t even feel pain, so I’m not sure, but I think it went well.
Since everything is done like a cast with tape, you probably can’t see wellㅜㅜ But it seems like it went well, right? Right now I’m still dazedㅎ My nose is blocked, so it feels stuffy..ㅜ It’s hard to eat. I’m going again on Monday, so I should ask about this and that again. They said it takes 3 months for the swelling to go down and for things to look okay, so I hope it’s okay then tooㅜ

I wrote that I’m so happy, so happy, but the result is something you only know later, so I don’t know if people might misunderstand and think it’s advertising or that I’m a broker. It’s really such a fine line, and I really had it done yesterday and wrote exactly what I feltㅜ I tried to shorten it, but it’s really long haha... Maybe there won’t be any commentsㅋㅋㅋ
As you can tell if you look at the posts I uploaded, this is the hospital I chose after going around to 6 places for consultationsㅜ I’m just leaving a review in case there are people like me who are 고민ing over it. Please use it as referenceㅎㅎ
