After bridge and nasal tip surgery last week at ㅋㄴㅍ, they removed the cotton the very next day, and removed the splint 5 days later. It’s now been 8 days since surgery. Both the consultant and the director were kind. When I first looked in the mirror after removing the splint, I thought to myself, ‘What is this..’ I had become Thomas the Tank Engine(?) from the cartoon. My nose was more blunt than I expected, and the glabella area looked like Avatar, so I thought it was ruined, but the swelling did go down little by little over a day or two. They say it can take even a year to settle into place over the long term, so since I’ve already done it, I’m going to try not to be anxious and just wait. The feeling that my nose keeps being pressed down and the foreign-body sensation will gradually go away, right? I hope the swelling goes down without any side effects and it comes out in the design I had in mind haha
