Hi everyone I had epicanthoplasty 3 years ago... I really disliked the hooked shape, so I’ll share my story about getting it restored. I really didn’t want eyes like this... Sigh, I got completely swayed by the cost aspect and the consultant’s way of talking, and ended up with bird-beak-like hooked eyes that were slit downward. But it’s not that this was anything other than something that didn’t match my needs. Of course, it wasn’t a medical accident or a side effect, so there was nothing that hospital could do.... I debated about a million times whether I should just live with it, but then a close friend told me I looked even fiercer when I smiled, and I went home and cried so hard... They probably said it without any particular meaning, but that night I just kept looking at my eyes and crying, and I kind of developed appearance dysmorphia. I had just been covering it up and living with it, but I think that one comment became the trigger. Starting that night, I immediately signed up for apps, cafes, and communities, and started looking into places good at epicanthoplasty restoration lol I heard this is actually a surgery with fairly big risks, so before surgery I went to a lot of consultations, but the surgical methods were all different, and no hospital really gave me confidence... After thinking it over, the last place I visited gave me confidence, so I ultimately decided to have surgery, and I don’t regret it. The hospital I went to is known for making the inner corners round and for scars that are on the longer side, so I was a little worried, but once I actually did it, the result came out really well without anything bothering me, so I’m just grateful... Thanks to an anonymous cafe review I saw back then, I ended up visiting this hospital last, so I’m writing this because I thought someone else might see my review and get help in the same way.
