I went to see Director Kim for a consultation about lowering the outer corner of the eye and canthoplasty. Honestly, I went in totally tense with zero expectations because of the community rating I saw. But he was more agreeable than I expected, kind of like a neighborhood uncle. He looked carefully at the space where canthoplasty would be possible, and even though I was also considering other surgeries because my face felt generally flat and plain besides canthoplasty, when I asked for recommendations because I didn’t know what to do, he surprisingly recommended other surgeries really well. He seemed to understand exactly what could be improved on my face.. I felt a lot of trust. The problem is the price, though. It’s not cheap, so I’ll have to negotiate it. I already have expectations for the surgery, so if circumstances allow, I definitely want to do it.
