On January 23, 2024, I paid 4.18 million won for surgery including lateral canthoplasty, fat repositioning, and dissolving all filler. (The cost of dissolving the filler alone was 990,000 won.) However, after surgery, the area under one eye where fat repositioning was done has continued to be swollen. It is only bulging on one side in a way that doesn’t seem like swelling, so whether in a bright place, dark place, or shadowed place, only one side is bulging and protruding. At the hospital, they initially insisted it was swelling. As time passed after the lateral canthoplasty, both sides became uneven, with one side opened more and the other side opened less. And lateral canthoplasty is meant to lower the outer corner of the eye, but as time passed, it gradually returned to my original eye shape, no different from before surgery. My eye shape went back up. Because I dissolved all the filler, I had severe sagging and have been going around for lifting, but every hospital I go to asks why my under-eye area is bulging. I kept feeling stressed, then told the hospital that one under-eye area was too bulging and that I wanted both sides of the lateral canthoplasty opened a bit more evenly, and they told me to visit first. I was very stressed and living in a depressed state, so I revisited the hospital, and they abruptly cut me off, saying aftercare should be done for a fee. They said the bulging on one side after under-eye fat repositioning was not swelling, but the remaining amount of filler that had not been properly dissolved. I had thought all that time that it was swelling, so I was dumbfounded and felt like I was going crazy. They also said to pay if I wanted aftercare for the lateral canthoplasty... They just kept talking about additional costs, and during the consultation, where I couldn’t see any effort to understand the patient’s needs or any sincerity, the doctor asked if I was getting angry at them and said they couldn’t help me if I acted this way... then walked out in the middle of the conversation lol In my life, it was the first time seeing such an irresponsible doctor, and I was shocked by the way they responded. I was so taken aback and stunned by the doctor’s sudden behavior. On top of that, telling a patient who came for aftercare because the surgery was done poorly to pay for it... And now they say filler may not dissolve all at once, but the cost for dissolving filler alone was 990,000 wonㅋㅋㅋ At the time, they said it would dissolve all at once because they barely diluted it with saline, but then their words changed. That day, they told me to either dissolve only the under-eye area again or leave, so I had it dissolved one more time, but time has passed and it is still the same now. Rather, because of the dissolving, the nasolabial fold filler I had gotten 1 week before at that time dissolved a lot, so I spent money again to get nasolabial fold filler. My under-eye area is still swollen as before, and the lateral canthoplasty (lowering the outer corner of the eye) is uneven, with one eye shape lifted a lot, so it is no different from before...ㅋ A week ago, I went for a consultation at a lifting hospital, and they recommended fat repositioning at another hospital. I had fat repositioning surgery in January, and now I’m being recommended fat repositioning again... After that, I have continued to request conversations with the hospital, but they do not reply each time. Only when I keep requesting do they barely give one reply at a time, and even those replies shift the blame onto me. They ignore the patient and do not reply, and they are taking no responsibility at all after surgery. I asked the manager in charge whether it made sense that I was recommended fat repositioning again, and they said recommendations can be given by other doctors too. Whether it is normal to have the same area recommended for surgery at another hospital in April after having it done in January... I found it questionable. I am still contacting the hospital, but they are not replying and are consistently ignoring me. I have plenty of time! If you want to have surgery at this place and then have revision surgery! I recommend a consultation! (Also, CCTV is mandatory, but when I requested CCTV, they talked about the doctor’s privacy and refused the request, saying they only disclose it when there is some issue+ During surgery, they move back and forth as if doing consultations. They administer anesthesia twice with a time gap, and I woke up in the middle and kept asking, but I remember the doctor was not there.)
