First of all, I had a short nose, bulbous nose, and a very low nasal bridge.. haha I urgently needed to change my image.. Looking into rhinoplasty clinics was already hard, but there wasn’t any clinic that felt exactly right, and the more I researched, the more complicated it got.. After searching for a while, I read the rhinoplasty tips, set the criteria I wanted, and when I explained them, I had the surgery at a clinic that designed the operation exactly to match them. For the criteria, rather than naturalness, I wanted it to look a bit more noticeably like my image had changed, so I put in 5 mm!! Even if it hurt, I used autologous costal cartilage, which they say is the strongest, for the nasal tip. After surgery, I bruised a lot, so I worried a lot, like, did they put in too much??? But I kept reading the tip posts, and since it wasn’t like I had inflammation or anything, I held onto my phone and slept while looking at them like a talisman whenever I felt anxious.. haha They say swelling goes down until 3 months.. I hope this is all the swelling that will go down ㅠ.. haha They say the nasal tip depends a lot on the doctor’s skill, and so far it’s staying well fixed! What’s surprising is that I thought I’d suffer a lot after harvesting autologous costal cartilage, but for me it was just a few days? of stiffness. There wasn’t any discomfort except sleeping in the beginning, and I go for follow-ups pretty often. Every time I go, the managers are kind, so I liked that! I’ve also heard a lot of compliments from people around me, so I’m satisfied! I’m watching how much more it will go down from here at 3 months, and keeping an eye on the nasal tip( •̀ ω •́ )✧
