Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

Review of Aiting

Consultation order: Manager: brief consultation about underlying conditions and the areas I wanted to improve (5 minutes) -> Doctor: came in a bit late.. (about 35 minutes of consultation) -> Manager: summary and cost consultation (5 minutes)

Consultation fee: 300,000 won paid in advance (worth it^^)

Consultation was done using face photos + palpation.

The moment he saw me, he started the consultation with an “Ah...” and a troubled expression! (To put it first: he told me not to get rhinoplasty..ㅠ) + The moment I walked in, his determination to understand my face and my nose was very intense.. I really liked that part.

First he checked which parts should be focused on, and explained things in the order of skin -> bone structure.

He explained each part of my nose in detail, so it was easy to understand, and I found it very convincing. I liked that there was a lot of information I hadn’t heard at other hospitals.

However, I asked a few questions because I was curious whether what I had heard elsewhere was correct, but I could feel a somewhat dismissive nuance toward the other surgeons. The reasons were really, really convincing.. but his way of expressing himself felt a bit harsh. haha He has a very strong pride in himself. (Actually, during the consultation he did seem like the most professional and like he’d be the best surgeon.)

Anyway, the conclusion for my nose was that it would be hard to raise it much, and that because it is small but has a good shape, “Don’t do rhinoplasty. (firm.. haha)” He said even if I did it, it wouldn’t be raised much, so the effect would be weak, it would look obvious, and the face would get pulled tight a lot. I really wanted a nose job, so I was sad that he strongly advised against it. But I was also grateful that he told me honestly.. haha ㅠㅠ

Instead of nose surgery, he told me ways that could make my face look prettier. (The areas he suggested trying were also parts that are my complexes, but he pointed them out exactly, so I felt like he was really looking at my face seriously.

Overall! The moment he saw my face, he was strongly intent on understanding the patient’s face, and he pointed out and explained even things other doctors don’t notice. I got the strongest sense of expertise, so even though he advised against nose surgery, if I were to do it, I’d want to do it here..!

The price is steep. Looking at the price list, it seems to be a fixed-price system. Mine was 6 million won. (donated rib cartilage + ear cartilage + silicone) It seems the lowest price for rhinoplasty starts at 6 million.. The price changes depending on additions like alar dermis, alar reduction, etc. Including tax, it comes to 6.6 million.

I want a nose job... I liked the consultation with the doctor^^hi
