This is a review 8 weeks after getting rhinoplasty at April31. My nose had wide nostril wings, no bridge, and the shape was totally like a dragon nose. From the front, my nose looked broad and flat, and I felt it made my impression not very good. I decided to have rhinoplasty because I wondered if my impression would change if my nose changed. These days a lot of men also get nose surgery, so it was easy to look into hospitals. Among them, I picked a few places and went for consultations, and I liked April31 Clinic the most, so I decided to have surgery here. Since I’m a man, I wanted the nasal line to look natural. I had a consultation with Director Ha Hyun-jung at April31, and she said my nose was also crooked, so it would be good to correct the crooked nose during surgery, raise the nasal bridge, and slightly lift the nasal tip too, so I said I would do it all lol.. I think the reason I decided to have surgery here was seeing how she consulted thoroughly and explained in detail to create a nose shape that suited me. Looking at my nose before surgery, because I had no nasal bridge and wide nostril wings, it felt like only the nostril-wing area stood out on my face. I lifted the nasal tip using ear cartilage, and a prosthetic implant was placed in the nasal bridge. After 3 weeks, the natural look I wanted came out, so I’m very satisfied. I also had nostril reduction, and when looking at my side profile, I was surprised because there was a big difference from my nostril wings before surgery. The nasal bridge also definitely no longer looks sunken compared with before and projects more, so my side profile looks much better. Now even from the front, the nostril wings don’t stand out, and since a lot of swelling has gone down, it has become a completely natural nose.
