I got consultations before the contracture progressed further, and had surgery at a nose-specialized clinic. During the consultation, I asked why my nasal bridge had turned red, and they said it was because of inflammation……. Since it was a revision surgery, I was more careful than before about choosing the material. I had my revision with a custom implant, and it seems like a lot of people get it. Since they take a CT scan and make it in advance to fit the nose, they said the nose is open for less time, so the chance of inflammation is lower and the recovery period is relatively faster. At one week, the swelling and bruising had not gone down much yet, but I could definitely feel that the line had become prettier and that the lifted nasal tip had improved. From the second week, the swelling started going down a lot. It has gone down even more now. Looking at the before and after photos while writing this, I’m surprised all over again. For my first surgery, I mostly asked about the shape, but for the revision, I definitely asked mainly about the implant and surgical safety. Since I can’t have another revision after this, the direction of the consultation really changed. I consulted with the director for over an hour, and thankfully, I think it is healing well now. I thought revision surgery would never be something I’d have to deal with, but after going through it, it was really hard. Oh, I was also concerned about aftercare, and I liked that this clinic has a 3-year warranty. It is still only week 2, so I need to keep working hard to reduce the swelling.
