There is still quite a bit of swelling on the inner side of the hidden double-eyelid line (the folded part), and I think there is also some swelling toward the outer side of the eyelid. There is still some bruising left at the outer corner of the eye too. People around me have reacted with: they can’t tell I had surgery (nothing changed), it looks natural, my pupils are definitely more visible, somehow my eyes look clearer and brighter, my eye shape looks more defined, something did change, and my eyes did get bigger. Maybe because they’re my own photos, when I look at the pictures I feel a huge difference compared with before surgery (actually, the canthoplasty effect? I’m not sure, just when looking overall). Since my eye bones, eyeballs, and pupils themselves take up a small proportion of my face, I think people don’t feel a major change in my overall image.
