I had surgery here 2 years ago. I had a low nose, but they made the nasal tip sharply higher using ear cartilage, which is difficult to raise a lot with as a support, and they also used septal cartilage and even harvested autologous dermis. The result is disastrous. The nasal tip has no support, so it bent to the side, and the silicone nasal bridge was placed from too high up, so my glabella is the same height as my nasal tip. It became a straight nose, and the nasal tip drops completely straight down. The silicone also rotated completely to the right. It became a masculine nose. It is less pretty than most men’s noses, and it looked much better before. The nasal line was so strange that I even received AS. My nose was opened twice, but nothing changed. I regret it a lot. I also had columellar extension. But I don’t even know whether columellar extension was actually included in the surgery. It just feels like the nasal tip was lifted and pulled. And the area where they harvested autologous dermis from my buttock looked so strangely wounded at first that I thought it would still get better, but it is very visible and the scar is severe. Oh, and they also requested lateral nasal osteotomy and hump osteotomy that my nose did not need, so I had them done. The hump was not even visually severe, and after shaving the side of the nose, since my nose was already small, the empty space beside my cheeks became larger and the proportions became strange. It is full of regret. Since it was my first surgery at age 20, I should blame myself for not knowing anything. Revision surgery is not cheap either, so it makes me sad. I have seen many posts from people, not just me, complaining that their nose became crooked after surgery here. My body has no silicone-related adverse reactions at all, and I am not prone to swelling or inflammation either. I came out after surgery and could see that it was crooked, so I even wore the splint for 2 more days. They said it was swelling, but maybe the doctor already knew. Could it really be a problem with my nose?
