Review of An from a community member

I had surgery here 2 years ago. I had a low nose, but they used ear cartilage, which is hard to raise the nose much with as a support, and made the nasal tip pointed and high. They also took septal cartilage and autologous dermis. The result is disastrous. There is no strength in the nasal tip, so it bent to the side, and the silicone nasal bridge was inserted from too high up, so the glabella is the same height as the nasal tip. It became a straight nose, and the nasal tip drops down completely straight. The silicone also rotated completely to the right. It became a masculine-looking nose, but it’s less pretty than most men’s noses, and it was much better before surgery. The nasal line was so strange that I even received after-service correction. My nose ended up being opened twice, but nothing changed. I regret it a lot. I also had columellar lengthening. But I don’t even know whether columellar lengthening was actually included in the surgery. It just feels like the nasal tip was lifted and pulled. Also, the place where autologous dermis was taken from my buttock initially had such a strange-looking wound. I thought it would still get better, but it’s very visible and the scar is severe. Oh, and they asked to do lateral nasal osteotomy and hump osteotomy, which my nose did not need, so I did them. The hump wasn’t even severe visually, and because the sides of the nose were shaved down instead, my nose was already small, but the empty space beside my cheeks became bigger, making the proportions strange. It’s full of regret. Since it was my first surgery at age 20 and I knew nothing, I guess I should blame myself. Revision surgery prices are not easy either, so it’s sad. I’ve seen many people besides me complain that their nose became crooked after surgery here. My body has no silicone side effects at all, and I don’t tend to get much swelling or inflammation. When I came out after surgery, the crookedness was visible, so I even wore the splint for 2 more days. They said it was swelling, but maybe the doctor already knew. Could this really be a problem with my nose?
