Bulbous nose (nasal tip) + philtrum reduction on the day of surgery

Before surgery, I also got a lot of information from this community and checked it often, so I’m writing this for future reference too!

Day of surgery I had 2 functional nose procedures + nasal tip with septal cartilage, bulbous nose correction, columella reduction, and nostril reduction! Originally, I was only going to do the philtrum, but I thought, when would I ever get to rest like this again? So while I was looking into doing the nasal tip as well, I had surgery here!

I’m a scaredy-cat, so while I was under sedation, I also did InMode, and because I was worried my recovery might be slow, I got an IV drip too! Before surgery, I had another consultation in the order of consultant manager -> director! The director draws the design on your face!

On the day of surgery: 1. My throat was very dry because of the nasal packing. Pain (breathing through my mouth) 2. Slight pain, more of a throbbing around the philtrum than the nose! 3. After 5-6 hours, I could feel the area around the nose starting to swell 4. I can’t tell what the nose looks like because of the taping and swelling, but I can visibly see that the philtrum really got shorter.. so fascinating.. That’s about it?

They say swelling is usually worst on days 2-3, so I’ll try writing again tomorrow and the day after tomorrow!
