About 7 years ago, I had cosmetic surgery for a deviated septum. I had a septal procedure + autologous cartilage reconstruction. I was going to have it done at an existing plastic surgery clinic, but after learning that it was a surgery on the level of general anesthesia, I had it done through an otolaryngology specialist at a general hospital. Since it is a surgery that touches both the internal nose and external nose, I was told that if the surgery is biased toward the cosmetic side, there is a high concern for future side effects. So for nasal surgery accompanied by a deviated septum, I recommend doing it at a general hospital.
