I had surgery at ㅇㅍㄹ in the winter crossing over from 2011 to 2012. Back then I didn’t know much and only went for consultations at big, large-scale clinics in Gangnam and Apgujeong, and I had surgery at one of them. As expected, now that I’ve looked into it, it turns out to be a blacklisted place that anyone here would know. Because I had a short nose, I had open rhinoplasty with septal extension. After the surgery, I was so swollen and in pain that I called, but they only said it was because I had just had surgery.... Because the weekend was included, I went to get the stitches removed almost 5 days later, I think, and I was still in so much pain even then. Even when the staff member removing the stitches pressed my nose just slightly, tears streamed down.... In the end, maybe that staff member thought something was wrong, because they said they would call the director to check, and then they said blood had collected inside and I needed revision surgery immediately. I had gone to the hospital that morning, but after the revision surgery I got back around 8 p.m. But the ridiculous thing is they only said I needed surgery, and I didn’t even see the director’s face or hear a detailed explanation. I was so angry that after the revision surgery, I went to the hospital the next day and asked them to call the director who performed the surgery so he could explain it to me. The director came, but what the heck, the chief director I was supposed to have didn’t come, and another director came instead. (When I signed the contract, another director’s name was on it, so I asked what that was. The coordinator said it was definitely the chief director and that it was their mistake, then came back after changing the name on the contract. I should have realized it then....)
When I asked the director why a different director came, he said they had gone into surgery together. Back then I was young and naively believed it, but now that I’ve looked into it, that was total nonsense. Nose surgery is done with 1 doctor and 1 nurse like that. After that, because I was worried about inflammation, I went for disinfection every day for almost 2 weeks, but when they told me to come back a month later, I didn’t go. That hospital makes me shudder. Now, for the time being, both nostril wings are uneven and the silicone is slightly tilted diagonally, but it’s not severe, so I’m just going to roughly live with it. I don’t think I can ever do my nose again. Everyone else, please look into things carefully before doing it too, and definitely avoid blacklisted places.
