Everyone looking into rhinoplasty... please read this, after my first nose surgery…

Before surgery, my nose had a pointed tip, and from the bridge to the tip, the overall shape just made only my nose stand out I lived like that for about 2 years It really drove me mentally unwell~ Some days I thought, just live with it; other days, why did they make my nose like this; and other days, if I touch it again, can it be done without problems, what if problems happen... things like that... By my standards, the first surgery was not a successful surgery. It was just a completely botched surgery. I had probably said I really hated a flashy nose. What’s the point of just telling me verbally how many millimeters they’ll put in, when I don’t know what that amount looks like once it’s placed;;; After I decided to remove everything and get a natural-looking revision, I came into this community often, and when I looked at all the posts pouring in, there were really a lot of people looking into rhinoplasty As someone who had rhinoplasty too, I couldn’t say, “Never get rhinoplasty” ㅋㅋㅋ I also thought, who am I to say that; I went through my self-esteem collapsing because of one nose for 2 years It’s not just the nose I think plastic surgery is something you really have to decide very carefully. These days people say eyes and nose are just procedures or whatever, right? What are they talking about; how on earth is a nose a procedure? Is that nonsense something brokers go around saying; Anyway.. I ended up with a flashy nose, and the aching and tight pulling sensation in my nasal tip was so severe that I became disgusted with my nose, so for my revision I went to a place that does really natural results, had everything removed, and had a revision without implants So I’m going to jot down the things I thought about for 2 years and the things I paid attention to while looking for clinics this time, because I think if everyone looking into rhinoplasty applies them too, maybe they can have a good surgery in one goㅠㅠ 1. When you start researching online, try getting clinic recommendations from a community~ But only receive them as recommendations. You have to stop there, just enough to know that these kinds of clinics exist 2. It will take a lot of time, but search every clinic. Then keep looking at reviews In the end, directors operate according to their own style, you know? Whether the director’s aesthetic sense is good or bad? No;;; You need to see whether the director’s aesthetic sense matches yours If you want a natural style like I did, you really need to go to a director who makes it look natural Because it seems like many people go there for noses Because lots of nose posts come up Because it seems like there are many nose reviews Please remember me, who went with thoughts like these and ended up with a nose shape I didn’t even want... Personally, the places where I could see reviews well were this community and apps. In cafes, most reviews didn’t directly disclose clinic information 3. When you go around to several consultations, you’ll get a feel for whether this director is recommending the surgical direction and materials for the nose they want to make, or whether they are really recommending what fits you safely Most of the time, with the former, you think, hmm...? I had that thought during my first surgery too, but I thought, since they do a lot of noses they’ll do a good job~ and lay down on the operating table, and 2 years later I lay down on another clinic’s operating table again With the latter, you’ll think, uh... yes, my nose is like that.. then should it be done this way? From this point on, go to more consultations at similar clinics. Why? Because directors who pursue similar directions recommend conservatively, but their thoughts are all different, so there will be something that differs. From there, you gradually narrow down the director who fits you well 4. After finishing in-person consultations, you have to decide on a clinic, right? If there’s a clinic you’re drawn to and a place you want to do it, I hope you dig through as many reviews of the director who will operate on you as you possibly can. I mean look at both good reviews and bad reviews. From there, if I contact the clinic, you look at what the director’s attitude and the clinic’s attitude seem like. If you’re still unsure, please go to more consultationsㅠㅠ Let’s not choose a clinic while still unsure 5. All of this is really to say: decide very carefully. Just.. I hated it so much that only my pointed nose stood out, and it didn’t suit me at all. So I wanted it natural, and because of that I found myself looking this meticulously. But after doing this, I thought, why didn’t I think about these things for my first surgery? This post is a bit long.. but if you have time, I really hope you invest a lot of time in online research and in-person consultations. This community has more real patients than you might think. If there’s something you’re worried about, clearly write what you’re worried about and post it. The posts on the removal board really helped me a lot
