Now that I look back, I really think you should go to dozens of consultations and be fully prepared before your consultations!! I think you need to have knowledge about rhinoplasty, such as materials, surgical methods, side effects after surgery, and so on. Please go through each thing carefully during your consultations!!!
On the day of my nose surgery, I had a closed approach with a 3.5 mm nasal bridge implant and ear cartilage. On day 5 after surgery, they removed all the fixation tape. I thought it was strange~ because they removed it so early. As expected, my nose was completely crooked in an S-shape. I checked it after coming home~ I wonder if they don't even check whether it became crooked during surgery. When I told the director, he said he was sorry and suggested proceeding with revision surgery right away. Two days later, I had the second surgery with an open approach. The nasal bridge was raised to 4 mm. The nasal tip had been raised more. Again, on day 5, they removed all the splint. When I checked the shape of my nose, it went straight down and then the nasal tip had deviated toward the left side. The problem is that only the director and nurses at that hospital say they don't see it. My friends and family say they can clearly see that it is crooked and drooping. I'm going out of my mind. When I appealed to the doctor, he told me to come back after 6 months. I was dumbfounded, so I asked if he was saying it was because of swelling, and said that normally the major swelling is gone after a month. I said I would come back in a month and asked him to look at it again then, but he kept insisting I come back after 6 months. It's ridiculous. The psychological stress is really severe. If that hospital says they will redo it, should I trust them and leave it to them? I want to get a refund and have it done at another hospital ㅠㅜ
